Where is a good place to park up there?
Without a permit, the best place is either at the stadium lot or try the new KFK building that’s just below and immediately North of the Huntsman Main entrance. Call 801-587-7000 and ask for the Valet office or Security desk for the deets.
That’s quite a hike up to the cancer center from the stadium. Isn’t there parking at the cancer center?

Looks like permits are not needed! I’ve had a permit at the U for over 20 years and I’m happy to see you might be able to throw your keys at the free valet.
There’s shuttles but the Valet’s will know if you can park there without an A pass or other parking pass in the south lot. There’s at least 1 (black) shuttles that run up to the Huntsman as well. Let me find a link for the live shuttle app-thingy.
So, Black is the dedicated Huntsman shuttle and the Green-arrowed Trax bus also goes there scheduled. If you zoom in close you can click on the arrow and the name and time to next stop is displayed.
Also: Appears Valet parking is free! but I would recommend calling to confirm. Phone: (801) 585-0616
Free parking for The Point restaurant at the Huntsman Cancer Institute is available in the Huntsman Cancer Institute Parking Terrace. Located at 1950 Circle of Hope Drive, Salt Lake City, visitors can park in the terrace, take elevators from level P4 (Level A of the hospital), or use the free valet service at the main entrances.

Parking Options for The Point:
- Self-Parking: Use the parking terrace, ensuring you allow 15-20 minutes to park and walk, as detailed in the Huntsman Cancer Institute parking guide.
- Valet Parking: Free valet is available Monday–Friday at the main entrances of Cancer Hospital North or South.
- Location: The Point is located on the 6th floor of the hospital.
It is recommended to follow the signs for “Huntsman Cancer Institute” once on Circle of Hope Drive.
