Today’s Game Features Honoring Wat Misaka

Sort of surprised that this hasn’t been brought up yet, but at today’s game against USC, Utah will be honoring Wat Misaka by hoisting his jersey number to the rafters. (Not retiring it, as I understand it. Stefanovic won’t have to change his number.)

Wat is one of the best stories in Ute basketball lore; the first Asian American to play in the NBA and helped lead the Utes to the 1944 NCAA title. This recognition is long overdue.
