Initially I was skeptical about the tech, but reading a little bit made me curious. So looking into patent a little, I found it pretty interesting. There’s an embedded video in the article that shows the bike in action, albeit on a mechanics stand.

Supposedly the prototype is useable. I few questions were brought to mind, mostly involving weight and maintenance. There are a ton of moving parts, therefore wear parts.

Anyway, if you folks are interested:
