One of the most disheartening performances I have seen in a long time, especially considering what UA did to Utah last season. I am shocked at how poorly prepared the team has been.
sigh, we look dreadful! Based on our points per quarter we’ll score one more point.
Not to be Debbie Downer but realistically, it’s going to be hard to come back from this. No. 10 losing badly at home to an unranked team.
It’s all good…players came back and got their money.
I would strongly consider picking up the pace.
I don’t know if we’ll get this one, but at least we have a pulse.
I am very disappointed with this outcome.
Well the folks that think we play better as underdogs are going to have their wish come true for at least a few weeks.
How the #$@% do the Wildcats have our number? Of all the teams to lose two in a row to…
Tip of the hat to Arizona. That week off definitely helped them right the ship. We left too many points on the table to win this one.
Ha! I think that’s true about the Utes, but to
me it’s a bug, not a feature.
Anyway, tonight we simply got outplayed in every aspect of the game. Props to Arizona.
We just lost at home to a bad team. I’m not going to say the season is lost just yet, but… there’s no more margin for error. And needless to say, tonight was not the slightest bit encouraging.
■■■■ this team and ■■■■■■ program.
Issac won two road games for us and held off Baylor at home, but he’s still a freshman. We would have all signed up for being 4-1 if we knew Cam would be out this long.
That being said tonight was awful.
We need to buy former UNLV Quarterback Matt Sluka
Also screw Cam Rising. Paper thin pussy.
This. Isaac is going to be good, but he’s making lots of freshman mistakes.
Simply put, Arizona made big plays and Utah did not. Best example was when we cut the lead to six in the 4th and RES was ROCKING. Fifita was completely unphased and led them right down the field with two perfect long balls to slam the door shut.
I have no idea what the rest of the season holds, but the B12 is obviously wide open.
That was entirely unsatisfying.
That is all.
This loss isn’t on Wilson. He didnt rock the world but he didn’t allow us to be gut punched over and over again on D. He didn’t make bad play calls on 4th down again and again. He didn’t abandon the run game or send in the calls to run him up the middle.
This was a full team and coaching failure and Cam casually standing on the sideline for the second year in a row making NIL made me remember that this isn’t the college sport I used to care about. I thought when the game was on the line the real Champions always wanted the ball
AZ came to play. We apparently didn’t . Last weeks victory also doesn’t seem as big after KSU handled OSU easily today too. Maybe we should have more moderate expectations the rest of this year because I have zero confidence we are 11-1 at the end. 8-4 seems likely which is where I started the season.
You should have waited another two years to post, or preferably more.
