Time for Revenge Against the Wildcats

Last year’s game in Tucson left a bad taste in all our mouths. This is a good year to get some payback. It looks like they are the Mildcats in 2024 and don’t have much to offer this year, but there are signs that Utah has a lot to offer:

Yeah, I don’t care that the HC moved on since that game. I want them curb stomped for that bush league move last year.

disadvantage Utah that Arizona had a bye week last week.

I hope we broke out the Zona urinal cakes for this one. The postgame reports on the bulletin board would make a nice reminder, too.

Every year there are teams I want to beat more than the others. Last year it was Southern Cal and Florida. Southern Cal, well, because they are despicable and Florida because of the way their fans treated us at Florida the previous year.

This year it’s Arizona. Because of their classless move at the end of the game last year.

It seems like everyone is hyping up UCF as the toughest remaining game for Utah, and they are ranked 3rd on this power ranking, and yet they are hardly getting a sniff in the AP and Coaches polls. Does anyone have any theories on that?

Probably because they aren’t one of the big three in Florida? I have no idea.

It’s because they are in Florida, and Florida is not allowed in The Good Place.

A quick peek at holy war ticket prices tells me that y fans may appear out of nowhere after a lengthy and silent hibernation.
Looks as though some of our Ute brethren may be looking to turn a quick buck here. Shameful.

I try not to swear too much when watching sports, but couldn’t help yelling Whiskey Tango Foxtrot after a certain play last season. When asked about that play in the post game interview, Whitt simple said it’s up for us to stop the other team. But certainly the coaches, players, and fans will remember and be ready to give the Wildcats a hearty welcome to our field Saturday night.

Not to worry, the prices will drop dramatically after they lose 3 of their next 4 games.

@330ute, you’ve hit the nail on the head. The #JohnnyComeLately crowd will immediately return back into the woodwork.

At those price points, I doubt the Zoob faithful will be too motivated to buy. Remember - the Zoob fan base is famous for their cheapness.

Utah fans who are not season ticket holders may be eager to attend the first Holy War game in Rice-Eccles in 6 years which will boost prices on the resell market.

I arranged some seats for a client from CA whose son attends the U. One person selling three seats in W35, Row 40, wanted $550 per ticket. Pretty pricey.

You wouldn’t be talking about a 52 yard bomb for a TD with 32 seconds to go, when they were ahead 36-18, would you?

Maybe…

Anybody know if Cam is going to play today?

From everything I heard, Cam couId have played last week, but the staff didnt like the velocity he was putting on the ball in warmups.

On the other hand I could see them resting Cam for one more game, that gives them the bye week for him to heal further.

???
