Ticket Portal has changed

Just FYI for anyone who hasn’t been paying attention (like me), Utah has moved away from Ticketmaster for digital ticketing. They’re now using something called “Paciolan” that requires you to reauthorize your account, set up a new password, etc.

I logged in today and it shows all my correct account info and shows that I did do a renewal, but it doesn’t look like any actual tickets have been added yet. Hoping everything runs as smoothly as Ticketmaster did, as I never had any problems with their site or app.

Paciolan is owned by Learfield, which is contracted with the Big12 as the comprehensive sponsorship rights holder.

Paciolan is a good platform, I much prefer it to Ticketmaster. Schools have been steadily moving to it the last few years (including most of the old Pac12) in order to get away from Ticketbastard’s abuse and extortionary practices.

I go to the U and have mine printed.

Get off my lawn.

There were reports from various folks who had contacted the ticket office and were told that today was the day tickets were supposed to be active in the new Paciolan portal.

Anyone seeing theirs yet?

I saw August 19 posted somewhere.

I installed the new Paciolan app kind of late, but I’m very pleased at how seamlessly it seems to work. For whatever reason I had strange hangups with Ticketmaster’s system. I was always able to work them out, but I got to the point that I always set aside 15 minutes or so to transfer tickets, logon, make changes, etc. I felt like I needed the extra time just in case something weird happened..

Agree the new system is a lot better than Ticketmaster.

Now… they just need to find some extra security scanners, especially on the east side. Last year there were four, this year two? Serious logjam.

If they start wearing masks…get very worried.

Those scanners are silly.

They use AI to try and detect weapons

At the JMHC they think headphones are weapons. (But only once out of the 6 meets)

They may have moved them to the south entrance. There were a lot of them and getting thru the gate was the fastest I’ve ever seen.

However, why do they only have two gates open when we are LEAVING the stadium after the game?

First game for the game experience people. They’ll figure it out, just like I’ll remember to bring a rain jacket… but it was warm enough the rain was actually nice.
