When I occasionally have, as I did last night, one of those rare sleepless nights, and I turn to my defensive backup nightstand laptop, to stream something to relieve my sleep depriving anxiety, I usually turn first, to KUER, online, and Terry Gross of Fresh Air.
I’m posting a link to the wonderful program I found, which presented an old favorite subject, so hilarious that I didn’t sleep at all initially, but rather laughed loudly and uncontrollably for some time. The distraction, however, had me forgetting completely about the source of the anxiety and sawing logs, and gaining a good nights sleep before long.
God Bless KUER, Terry Gross and staff, for the creative thoughtful programming, and Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Teri Garr, Madeline Kahn, Cloris Leachman, and Gene Hackman for my personal favorite comedy movie of all time; and for the combination of all for an eventual good night’s sleep.

Forgot to mention, you’ll need to be standing on your left foot , twirling a small hoop with your right foot while wearing lederhosen and singing the Lithuanian national anthem. Other than that, piece of cake
