Absolutely, perhaps more than a smidge.

The Guess Who was the first concert I attended at the Salt Palace convention center as a 7th grader in 1970.

We need to exorcise this horrible malady, get it out, and we must never talk about this again!

I’m suddenly reminded of Captain and Tennille, thanks :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

@SkinyUte
Just clear this up. I posted for @salute’s post on your thread and couldn’t elliminate my comment about the tempo of the BTO song. Never meant to imply you, or your musc is a “wrong post.”
I thought I might have posted an erroneous ghost post.
My internet skills are sometime lacking. I like your musical contributions.
My apologies for poor tech skills. The butterfly comment made it seem even worse. It took me 3 days t realize I might have slighted you.

Give me The Guess Who. They got the courage to be drunken buffoons, which makes them poetic”

The top 15 bands I listened to in 2024, according to Apple Music.

(Since they’re cut off, #1 is Frontline Assembly, #9 is Fleshgod Apocalypse, and #15 is Weston Super Maim)

Frontline Assembly, that’s a serious callback for me. I listened to them a lot in the early 90s.

Since Skiny started the sharing:

I share the account with my wife, but I take full responsibility for the pop divas on the list. #1 is our niece, and we support (and recommend!) her. Most of the stuff we listen to are playlists, and these artists are clearly the most highly represented on them.

They’re definitely getting older, but are still putting out really awesome albums. Bill Leeb (FLAs frontman) also out out a solo record this year that is excellent.

I have all their albums in a big playlist that I listen to on about 75% of my morning runs. It’s great workout music. :blush:

It’s funny how much one album can help with a workout. For the longest time I would listen to Lady Gaga’s “The Fame” or “The Fame Monster” and they just worked perfectly for a workout. Then I switched to Daft Punk’s “Tron Legacy” soundtrack and that worked for ages as well.
