Actually, that was actually the name of the song, but the group was apparantly so high when they recorded it, what came out was innagaddadavita.

This was in my spotify queue this morning. I did also see that the official release is tomorrow some time. The link works, it just requires you to sign into spotify if you aren’t already.
It’s not the Beatles’ best song, but it’s not bad. I would argue that Let it Be was their best song, but that’s a discussion for another time.

I thought that the most brutal album of 2024 would be a toss up between Bloodgutter or Rotpit, but NecroticGoreBeast’s “Repugnant” album came out of left field last week with the aural equivalent of a sledgehammer to the face. This is just completely nutso, in all the good death metal ways.
The cover art’s a little gnarly (not gory, just…unsettling) so I’ll link it instead.

I saw Bachman-Turner overdrive Sunday night. Great concert. Randy Bachman said that he used to be in a group before BTO and we wouldn’t have to buy tickets to see a second group tonight, as they were going to be playing a lot of The Guess Who songs. They played every major song of the Guess Who which was pretty nice. And, I don’t think there was anyone under 60 there!

This is a great album. Stream it today. Produced by Shooter Jennings it has a bit of a Guy Clark/Townes feel to it.

When I think of the many bands that emerged from the broader Seattle hard rock/ grunge/ post-grunge scenes in the 90’s, few were more talented or more relevant than Sleater-Kinney. They made it pretty big, but they should have been huge. The thing is, they are girls. And apparently only dudes are supposed to make this kind of raw, angsty music. 
Glad to see they have a new album coming out in January.
