That would make an awesome painting.
But you don’t get to make happy clouds that way.
I’m in Washington DC this week. My first time here, what a beautiful place!
Everyone has seen pictures of the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and the Washington Monument, all very cool and great places. One of the places I was excited to visit, (my wife wouldnt get out of the car for this photo op, LOL). I took a picture of a German couple who shared my excitement. The infamous Exorcist Steps
Never saw that movie. I’m agnostic, but, too freaky for me
The aurora from last week, looking northward from our house. I wish that there had been less light pollution, but my phone camera still took a decent picture.
Hopefully you didn’t get showered with pea soup while you were there!

Tha sand isnt grainy enough here. May I speak with your manager?!?
I first saw a photo of the All American Man pictograph 30+ years ago. I finally made the long hike to see it last weekend. It is incredible.
A few weeks ago I got to visit the Yucatan Peninsula for the first time. Chichen Itza is a true marvel, as are the cenotes. The pictures just don’t do it justice.
Went there like 30 years ago and you are spot on. Great memory and great pictures
Halceon days. Wicked awesome alpine glow last night
The lake looks empty. I have been seeing reports of it continuing to shrink. Never would have thought that based on the Bangerter pumps in the west desert, etc., back in the day.
At some point it will dry out to a very small fraction of its size due to development, water diversions and drought.
Given what scientists and archaeologists have seen in their studies of Mesa Verde, it makes you wonder if SLC and the Wasatch Front could become the next Mesa Verde in Earth’s history.
I didn’t think the Aurora made it to Puerto Rico.
I’ve been wasting too much time on Youtube watching clips of Better Call Saul. Yikes!
Otherwise, totally agree. We need that stinking lake!
