We dumped fubo when they kept swapping out other channels we watched. My wife specifically was oissed they dropped the food network and HGTV and stealth shoved in a couple crappy replacements. Moved to YouTube TV and so far less shenanigans. With no P-12 did t have to keep them. Frankly all streaming is a nightmare worse than Comcast cable at this point. ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ is real.

We moved away from Xfinity a few years ago for both cable and internet and went with Hulu/Google Fiber. WORST CHOICE EVER! Hulu will randomly shut down. I can’t program the DVR feature to go 30 minutes longer in case of overtime. I miss having picture in picture for football and March Madness. Etc. Fiber has been a complete s-show in our neighborhood. If you have Xfinity, cherish it.

Life is hard.
Not exaggerating when I say I get 5-6 hard copy mailers every week to switch over to Google Fiber. I’ve talked with three of my neighbors and several co-workers who have it and they all say it’s an absolute nightmare for video conferencing (which is about 80% of my work-at-home job). While not the fastest, Comcast has been remarkably stable for me for years now and I can’t risk changing to something else that might not work as well.
When I went to restart my YouTube TV sub, I learned they have a “sports package” that’s $15 cheaper. Looks like it includes all the channels I’ll need, so I went with that one.

I’m not sure what would cause video conferencing in particular to be problematic over Google Fiber, as I no longer video conference other then occasional facetime with my son, which always works fine.
I switched over to Google Fiber perhaps 5 years ago, and it has been reliable, fast, efficient, just generally Rock Solid. Once I got past a few initial setup issues with coverage for my garage, I have not had a single outage, never had to call support, etc.
I previously had Comcast, which is much better than Century Link which it replace, but i had many more outages with Comcast than Google. Ultimately, i switched to Google because the pricing was lower than anything else.
