Any news on Wilson’s knee surgery? I’m assuming it will happen sometime after spring practices?

I haven’t seen/read anything about that other on fan boards. He is mentioned to be in the race for QB2 so it’s either very minor or not happening. Although I don’t claim to have an real knowledge about it.

I think it is just cleaning up some cartilage nothing that has kept him out of spring.

If he had eligibility this year (he did), then any season ending injury makes for a solid case for a medical redshirt, especially if 4 or fewer games are played (assuming he will play 0). So he could come back and have a good year to display abilities for the League, but just a year later than he had hoped. But, this year is going to have a LOT of last year eligibility talent, so wouldn’t be surprised for a drop-off for the team in 2025 (still good, but less experienced) and/or Whit retiring.
