Really this had been in the back of my mind for some time. My old jig wasn’t what I liked. The old one was too flexy and didn’t allow for a ton of variations in geometry.
This one isn’t quite done. I need to add a tube to the backside so that I can put it on my Park bike stand. Then I need to finish the BB fixture area, so that the BB is centered and squared.
Gotta love 8020 stuff, it’s erector set toys for grown ups. All of the parts are recycled. My MIG welding instructor said that I could take all of the 8020 stuff, and I cannibalized a some parts from the old jig. I hope to get it finished this week. It’s not light.
