I have enjoyed soccer since I served an LDS mission in Spain in the late 70’s. While the MLS is not close to being on the same level as the top European leagues, the soccer being played has improved year after year. RSL is having a fantastic year having gone 13 matches without a loss and leading the western conference. This goal by Chicho is just amazing. Watch the first goal how he gives no sign that he is going to strike one from the RSL side of midfield.
I watched it on ESPN. It was a great job of freezing the goalie just enough to slip it in over his head.
It was awesome.
