A kid from Alabama who didn’t get exactly the path that he wanted but he got to the Pinnacle of his career. I got to meet him at an event when in HS and he was a charming man. He meant so much to the sport in the late 80’s and 1990’s. I wonder what would have happened if the University offered him the job after acoach Bryant died. RIP Coach.
