Chadwick Boseman passes at 43 from cancer. Had no idea he was even sick.

I didn’t know either. I thought his appearance what to get ready for a new role.
Yes cancer is a bastard. We’ve all been affected by in it one way or another. We all know someone who’s had it, whether it’s family or a friend.
I never realized just how many different roles he had. He was much more prolific an actor than I ever realized.
I hope his family is doing well, or as well as can be.

Seems like Boseman was a wonderful man, based on what I’ve read about him today. No surprise people are mourning him. He has left behind quite the legacy.
I’d argue that Boseman’s portrayal of T’Challa was just as iconic and just as much of a cultural touchstone as Reeve’s Superman.
I’ll never forget my friend’s son’s response (he was 4 at the time) when I asked him who his favorite super hero was. He immediately responded with Black Panther. When I asked what makes Black Panther so cool, his response was “He’s the only one who looks like me.”
