Sorry, everyone. Something weird happened with the earlier game thread. This one is available for you now. Post away!
I figure what was on there may have full of messages that would have been more therapeutic had they been written then thrown in the trash.
This is embarrassing.
It did cross my mind that maybe we don’t need to open another thread at all.
I don’t suppose there was a mix up and the teams put on the other teams uniforms?
Maybe the wrong cleats?
Maybe the new thread will change the teams momentum.
Blaming the old thread for our poor performance until proven otherwise
Still seem to have an issue with the run. Thank the hold
only given up 450 yards so far
Have we ever given up 400 rushing yards in 3 quarters…or even a game? Before
LOL at the announcers so concerned with the fans in the stadium
Every time he says playoff hopes I want to break something. Just stop.
The last time I remember Utah giving up this many rushing yards was 2003 at home against New Mexico, of all teams. Lobos had 407 yards rushing and 633 total yards in Urban Meyer’s one and only bad game at Utah. Utah also gave up 496 yards rushing to Rice in an inexplicable 51-10 loss in 1996. Fortunately, the all-time record for most rushing yards Utah has allowed is safe … I think. Air Force had a then-NCAA record 646 yards rushing against Utah in 1988. Crazily, Utah’s Scott Mitchell had a then-NCAA record 631 yards passing in that 56-49 Utah loss.
K state goes up with a TD on this drive and this game is over..
The Fassel years?
Many times under Fassel.
I know.Scalley is the “coach in waiting,” but when Whit leaves, can some big donor (if there is one) please, please throw a bunch of money at Jay Hill instead?
They said this is the most rushing yards ever against Utah.
The
Most
Ever
I really want to understand how we found ourselves here tonight.
LOL at “trying to keep playoff hopes alive”
They are wrong. Not even close to the most ever. Most ever since Whit has been head coach, yes.
That fumble sealed our loss
