The Fugs and the Rounders were early (late 60’s) folk/rock/punk cult bands, known for their casual musicianship, wild stage shows, and humorous irreverent lyrics.
The Fugs never broke out, but the Rounders sold some records and got some airplay on college campuses.
They did a lot of songs about sex and drugs, so they appealed to any college male with a sophomoric sense of humor, myself included.
Weber wrote their most popular and enduring song, “Boobs a Lot”.
