Yup. The last two minutes were white knuckle. It was not out of reach for UW with 45 sec to go.
How did we let Kur Kuath (Oklahoma) get away? He went to SLCC and then to Oklahoma. Seems to be a player we could have used.
Untimely misses at the charity stripe from usually reliable shooters and red hot 3-pt shooting from Huskies made the final score too close for comfort.
Nice to finally get a Pac12 tourney win, but will be tough tomorrow against a rested USC squad.
To have a good chance of beating Utah, just press the team as much as possible. Not sure why UW didn’t do it sooner. Nevertheless, a good win.
I still think they have a chance against USC. They’ve already proven they can beat the Trojans, as they did it two Saturdays ago. They’ve seemed to figure out how to negate Evan Mobley’s effect on the game, and it is why they beat the Trojans last time out. If they do, it likely will lead to another matchup against Colorado, as #11 seed Cal upset #6 Stanford tonight. Although Cal did beat Colorado the last time out.
Now the curse of T-Mobile Arena has been broken. They will need a much better effort tonight to get a win over U$C. 36 minutes won’t get it done.

Plummer with the ball just over the half court line, is surrounded by three Huskies, and simply falls down without any contact. Gut buster of funny there.

Break the press, get a two on one and the pass just flies right through Plummer’s hands, for another TO. The best comedy duo ever!
Yup…for a 6-ft player, his ball-handling skill leaves much to be desired.
