It quieted down after 11:00 pm, but one idiot went nuts at 12:30 am with a Roman candle barrage that shook the house.

Would y’all say that Pioneer Day holds more importance than the 4th of July in Utah?
It certainly felt that way to me when I lived within the Springville to Salt Lake corridor a number of decades ago.
Let me answer with a Utah sports fan analogy. July 24th is to Utah football as July 4th is to Utah lacrosse.
