The Pacers are annoying, but I do like Siakam. His older brother played at our local college, and the whole family are grind you down type of players. I really am not an Indianapolis as a city fan so that may be why I find them annoying but there is no denying both the Fever and Pacers are pretty fun to watch.
FWIW, Game 1 was entertaining and watchable. Not a bad start for a finals series in any sport.
It was a great series, I donât remember two teams fighting this hard all series, it was a non-stop brawl.
Too bad about Halliburtonâs Achilles, that rippled right up his leg.
By far the best part- Branden Carlson gets a ring!
This one was one of the best finals series weâve seen in a very long time. I normally donât watch it, but this time having two smaller market teams going at it was the hook for me. So now Jazz fans know a small market team can win the hardware.
It was damned tragic to see Tyrese go down like that. It looked gruesome. I hope he can recover quickly from the injury.
I love you guys watched it. I love the NBA and itâs wild that people are sleeping on this league when itâs typically this good. I have found my love of football is getting less and less and now I am paying more attention to the NBA and MLB.
I donât know. If the Spurs and Bucks (both smaller markets than the Jazz) winning championships hasnât already proven to Jazz fans that small market teams can win championships, I suspect OKC wonât get through to many, either.
He has been loyal
That would somewhat make up for no Best Director Oscar for âDo the Right Thingâ.
Nah, it wouldnât make up for it but if weâre honest that man has done more for the Knicks brand than Dolan. In fact, I think the NBA should just give him the team. lol
âDo the Right Thingâ, NBA. lol
It was nice seeing all the Knicks royalty at the games. They have a lot.
I actually played in a 2x2 pickup game with Bernard King at the old Deseret Gym circa 1980.
He was kind enough to let a couple of HS kids join him & his workout buddy for 5 minutes. That had to be part of the low point of his basketball journey, but it was the apex of mine.
It is wild how many Knick legends are honored without winning a title. That doesnât happen with most teams.
My claim to fame at Deseret Gym was playing pickup basketball with Vanilla Ice.
Finally saw clips from the Knicks celebration. Happy for NYC but really hope they go away until Dolan sells the team. That guy is a clown show. Cowherd (who I donât like) did bring up something very thoughtful. When the Knicks turned it around and set up this run with player acquisitions was when he was busy building the Sphere in Vegas. That guy should go back to the desert and sell the team.
