Let me tell you, driving on I-80 across Wyoming, then Nebraska, and then Iowa: brutal.

I did the same drive, except coming to SLC from Michigan. Those three states are brutal to drive thru.

1st, KC BBQ is really good if you can get some, find one of the hole in the wall joints.

2nd, driving across Kansas sucks because it is so boring. At least it has more (if only just) terrain variation than Nebraska.

Biggs and Biemers were closed. After going 0/2, we decided to just hit the road and eat later at a truck stop since we are in the truck stop conference . Sad

I would say only 6/17 hours driving were in daylight, so didn’t have to worry about it much. Not many cars, but you could tell the CA transplants that stayed in the left lane cruising. And too many ride with their high beams on … grrr.

Works for me. My info came from some one I used to know, who got a 20 over ticket in KS decades ago, claimed he got a felony for it. Don’t really know, never bothered to verify. I very rarely go that much over the limit.

Nebraska never ends. It’s probably 2 or 3 European nations by itself. I have a cousin who moved to Scottsbluff, voluntarily. She confirmed Evanston is actually pretty nice, by comparison.

It was Byrd. DD is a lot stronger, Byrd mostly rode the bench after that play, but he looked OK.

I was surprised by that, too. Apparently he never had a winning record in conference, and they got demolished by Stanford, so Ron Rivera decided it was time.

NIL and that conference… I’m still shaking my head. “From coast to coast, they’re happy back at Duke tonight (tomorrow morning)”.

SMU’s coach is an idiot. Arguing with the refs on an obvious call while your team needs you to turn the page…very late in the game.
