Is it weird to still be nervous about a game where we’re favored by 21.5?

I’m always nervous. And I won’t feel comfortable until the end. Remember that comeback UCLA had against WSU?

WSU blows.

Ute fan PTSD is by definition not rational. Many of us have it. We understand.

Now somewhere in Vegas the guy who sets the initial betting lines is getting raked over the coals for the line on this one.

I wonder. I would guess a lot of folks jumped on UCLA +21 and a half. The casinos probably made some bank on this game.

I’ll admit it, I was pretty nervous about that one. Very glad to be wrong.

Now I’ll be nervous for the next one. Arizona has thrown a wrench in our season too many times to avoid it.

I heard it from some PAC-12 Network commentator, but I think they said after a certain game they have led the conference. My bad.

Can I uncover my eyes? Did the Utes win?

Barely. They had to come from behind to do it :joy:

My Southwest flight required a plane transfer in Vegas so I had some time and was messaging my brother who was also flying up for the game. I joked that I should lay some money on the game. He said there are sports books in the airport. We both thought 21.5 points was a big number to cover. However the 51.5 over/under seemed more compelling. However, I pointed out that Whitt tends to shut things down when the game is well in hand. Well they easily covered the spread and barely covered the over, but I expected more help from UCLA on that. Oh and Whitt/Ludwig did shut it down midway in the 3rd quarter and just started pushing good around the plate.

I knew that DTR was a bad QB, but not Jake Heaps fumble in the endzone bad. I could not believe some of the prayers he was tossing. I know he did chuck one 75 yards.
