I need a good beer that goes with poached salmon, salad, corn on the cob, and Italian pasta salad

I was thinking a pale ale.

Post your thoughts.

Try this.
Lighter and less grapefruit as many IPA’s but has body and follow through.
Let me know if you agree

I don’t normally drink IPA’s but I will give it a go…next time when I can get to the store for it.

I have another IPA in the fridge (a winter social leftover). I will run with it.

Chardonnay.

IPAs and other pale ales are done to death. You might try Red Rock’s black lager, now available in Utah grocery stores everywhere.

Too much going on if you add the IPA. I’d add a crisp Pilsner.

Oly…really? :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

Actually ended up with doing the IPA. It went OK with the fish, but was kinda nasty with the bitter leafy greens in the spring mix salad. Live and learn.

Which IPA?

Ghost rider

Haven’t tried it
Have to check it out
Thanks!

It’s a white IPA from Wasatch. They brew it with coriander. It’s a slightly different IPA

“The Frosty Mug Taste”

It’s a whole lot too sweet and I’m not 12.

Either of a couple of my favorite beers would work just fine: Carlsberg, or Pilsner Urquell.

But if it were me serving, I’d go for a nice, dry, French Chablis.

I agree that Carlsberg would be good. One of my favorites.
