Part of it has to do with us playing them less, part of it has to do with former Utes transferring there, and the rest of it has to do with them hating BYU every bit as much as us.
I cheer for them. I want them to do well. I don’t really care what byu-provo does unless they are playing us or a PAC12 team.

In all fairness I have always like USU.
The only game I ever want them to lose is when they play the Utes.

I took a couple grad classes at USU on the side back when so I feel pretty good about cheering them on whenever it won’t impact the Utes. Plus they are another team that gets to beat TDS now and then. Wish they were on a rotating cycle of in state games instead of the dedicated in with Provo.

I’m happy to root for USU whenever they are bad. When they are good, though, I want to them lose.
