I’d like to report a murder

Jets replacing Sam Darnold with Zach Wilson. Or at least to me.

so much of having a long successful career as an NFL QB is the circumstances you’re given. Darnold had it about as bad as you can get.

Honestly Alex Smith’s career being what it was is quite amazing given his circumstances.

This. Sure, some players are in fact a bust. But, some players end up with Bust Franchises. Being a Bengal, Raider or Jet is a death sentence.

To say ZW has as good a chance as anyone (in the NFL) is like saying he had just as good a chance of starting at Alabama or Ohio State as the QBs that did so. Time will tell.

It’s possible Zach could have succeeded at the bigger schools last season. Zach clearly got better over his career at BYU. Sure, he’d play tougher competition at Bama or tOSU, but he also have a better O-line, receivers, running game, etc.

Time will tell. some smaller college guys made it, some didn’t.

If I ran behind Alabama’s offensive line I would get more yards than if I ran behind UTEP’s. It doesn’t make me Najee Harris.
