So Daley is gone it looks like. I wish people would just say something like, “I enjoyed my time here, and I’m exploring options.” Quit saying how much you love the fans and Utah, then in the next breath saying that you’re leaving with 2 years of eligibility. (Literally next breath)
I don’t have a lot of money, but what little I have I’d bet Daley is going to try for Michigan.
Coach Whitt going to Michigan for all that $$$ is one thing, taking coaches and staff from here is kind of a jerk move. What happened happened. He stepped down from Utah. He chose to sign with Michigan, now he’s probably poaching staff, and it looks like players too.
Don’t say how much you love me and then leave me, it’s like pissing in my face and saying it’s raining. I got told how much someone loved me then divorced me, I don’t need it from my favorite team’s players too. Sorry if I seem bitter, but I’m pretty ticked off at the moment.
I, like many here, am old school and long for loyalty to a program. That being said, I fully realize that will never be a thing again. I am totally for players getting some sort of compensation, but with a two way commitment.
What really torques me off is some of these kids have been the beneficiary of Utah coaches developing them into 4 or 5 star talent, then they basically fart in their general direction and tell them to pound sand.
