Hope everyone has a great thanksgiving with your families and friends.
This year I am thankful to be here enjoying the day with my family. I am thankful I am relatively healthy and happy. There was plenty of challenges this year and I am thankful to be past them.
Got the bird cooking, pies done, extra stuffing staged, and fruit salad with whipped topping and mini marshmallows made.

Mom passed unexpectedly less than a month ago, so this is my first major holiday as an “adult orphan”
It feels very…weird.

It is strange. My mom passed 2.5 years ago. She was 93. Yesterday was her birthday, so that was kind of strange too.

my boss lives is in Ireland, he’s quite the smart ■■■. Yesterday he told me “enjoy your long weekend, go put on your aprons or whatever you do. We’re going to enjoy working without you Americans”
