I was recently given my GP’s Conn “Chu Berry” new model 1926 fully functioning tennor sax that my GP played religiously. Needed new valves and complete disasembly, but got it back from Summerhays Music. Nothing but praise and appreciation for the music restoration team there. Under the direction of Dan and Jesus, my grandpa gets a second life: or at least voice, with the restoration of this vintage sax. Conn has a reputation for a chocolate, husky sound on lower registers and this sax does not disapoint.
Any sax players amongst us who want to take it for a walk? BM me if you are or know players.
Ok be honest .. how many others rapidly read that as “Grandpa’s Sex” ??

Classic instruments are cool. My wife’s cousins have a few from their dad who played backup for the Rat Pack in their Vegas shows back in the day.
