It was 22 years ago today Webmonkey started the original generation of this site. We have all enjoyed this becoming friends and talking sports here because of his vision that became a reality on this day.
It’s been a while since his passing. God speed old friend.

I was there. I was only in elementary school at the time, but I remember. 
Then there’s us really old one’s who were on Ohio Ute’s board before Utefans was Utefans
Webmonkey was great. Whether it was this board, or making the pirate trailer, or just wanting to get together at California Pizza at Gateway with a bunch of us, or whatever, he was a true Ute. His enthusiasm for getting Ute fans together and sharing in our common interest was infectious.
As we’re finding out with a lot of historic people in our country, everyone has some things they may have done differently, with the benefit of hindsight and greater understanding, and in that regard, Webmonkey was just like all the rest of us.
I miss that guy.
