I unknowingly had a heart attack earlier this year. Thought it was heartburn. I then suffered a stroke on June 7th. It landed me in the hospital for 5 days.
Happy to say that although the stroke was significant, I’m very blessed to have enjoyed a quick and 100% recovery with no symptoms. I’m under very good follow-up care at UCSD and will probably be a candidate for angioplasty and stent placement.
I’m very happy to be here with the opportunity to enjoy life with family & friends, cheer on my Utes and fly my airplanes.
Yikes. That must’ve been a significant scare, even if you didn’t realize it at the time. I’m glad you got your care at one of the best hospitals in the world. Sending healthy thoughts your way!
