This is outstanding. I am even more proud of my university after this week!
For reference, in order to be eligible for a Pell Grant (and thus this scholarship) the student’s FAMILY income must be $50k or less. So this scholarship is going to be very helpful for kids who very likely would not be able to attend college. This will be absolutely life-changing for them.
