My favorite was from when he was coaching the Saint Louis Billikens. I guess they had a game where they did block out so well. Rick shared the story of how he coached a wheel-chair league team and some of them were war veterans who not only had their legs blown off but also their balls blown off…and yet they blocked out.
Basically the long way of telling his team they had no balls.

I used to have his cell number. About 10 years ago, I was drunk one night and told my friends that I had Majerus’ number. They didn’t believe. So I called him and put it on speaker so they could hear.
“This is Rick.”
“Hey coach, go Utes!”
