Dallas’s scene has gotten quite a bit better, both uptown and downtown. I did live in downtown Dallas back around 2003-4 and it was a ghost town. Personally, I prefer FW; although its food scene is worse, its living environment is more preferable to me. Houston’s humidity is too much for me.
Definitely. Trompo is another spot I love in Dallas.
I get the humidity argument. I usually stay away from the gulf in summer.
