Sorry @ ExquisUte I responded too fast to see your post. Great minds think alike…

The word on the street teams are passing on him in expectations he’ll be named the next Pope.

Well, to Saturday we go…I hope some of our guys get the call.

I’d take Colonel or Bernie Sanders ahead of him.

True story: Colonel Sanders once got into a shooting fight with some guy…in a field…with shotguns.

Probably undersized, no arm, no escapability… but I bet his OL fought on every snap like it was their last moment on Earth.

Colonel had the most unhinged TV commercials:

Did Fellini direct that commercial

It’s a spectacular ad. This is like when Don Draper had the creatives at Sterling Cooper get free injections of a supplement containing “B vitamins and a mild stimulant” that provides two to three days’ worth of surging creative energy.

Picked 144, 6th qb (some fools predocted top 10, some 35th best but 2nd qb). And the Browns picked Dillon Gabriel in the 3rd round before him…

No big contract…likely gets cut before the season opens…ends up NFL-adjacent on a practice squad…

The grad assistant job in Boulder is looking better all the time.

The best thing for him would be a year on the practice squad.

It’s gonna go great.

Well, he can be the first player cut before his first practice as a pro.

Making history…the wrong way.

Deion…put away the helicopter and walk the ■■■■ away. If you want to Shedeur to succeed, give him a hug and let go be his own man.

Yeah, I don’t have a feeling he’ll be in Cleveland very long.

I saw someone say they drafted him in the fifth but probably can flip him for a future third round pick. Who knows. Very few NFL GMs have impressed me.

The Cowboys will make a deal for no other reason than their team is already a circus, and they aren’t going anywhere near a Lombardi Trophy anytime soon.

Not to hijack the thread and probably already discussed but highly touted WR Luther Burden III who was just drafted by the Bears, is the grandson of Luther “Ticky” Burden who played for the Runnin Utes back in the day. Suspect there are a few here who remember Ticky. Yes we are that old.

Please don’t remind me. Those Al Davis Raiders years may start making me jealous.

So, he is going to meet with them to say he is not going to intervene? If not, then it’s a problem. But him wanting to meet with them is also the problem. Most teams took Shadeur off their boards just to avoid this altogether. Take the hint - 5th round was a message to Deion as much as Shadeur. You got control of the college (rare for a parent). You ain’t getting control of pros, even if you are Primetime HOF.
