Jeanty to me is the Heisman but they WANT to give it to Hunter so bad.

Jeanty put up Barry Sanders like numbers this season. In any other decade, that alone would earn him the Heisman.

Hunter playing on both sides of the ball is unique, and for the record he had a good game against us, but he is not Desmond Howard good. He had a great season but what Jeanty did was more noticeable IF you remove the Deion megaphone.

On another note…

I noticed Army was 11-1 after winning the AAC Championship last night, but wondered by they weren’t in the CFP mix…then I looked at who they played. It was a Who’s Who of the Bottom 10, and Notre Dame (who crushed them for their one loss). Needless to say the answered answered itself…OOOFFFFFFF.

Jeanty put up insane numbers. But after 13 games he is still 131 shy of what Sanders did in 11. That tells you how otherworldly Barry’s 1988 season was.

ASU is going to win the B12. That’s a truly wild outcome.

Happy for Dillingham, I like that guy.

Did they grease the footballs at the SEC championship? The number of drops has been nuts.

Texas should have this game put away in the first half and keeps shooting themselves in the foot over and over again.

To go from back-to-back 3-9 seasons to 11-2 and the conference title is quite impressive. ASU was so bad last season. I remember watching Utah wallop the Sun Devils 55-3 a year ago and almost feeling sorry for ASU. What a difference a year makes.

The good news is that Texas lost.

Hmmmmm, so, the unbelievably bad “history” of Penn State, vs the Nike subsidized recent conference rival and PAC12 deserter, Oregon, who should I be cheering for?

I turned the TV on thinking Oregon, but those uniforms (and the fact that any of us ever notice uniforms) changed my mind.

Perhaps I’ll find something other than college football to pay attention to tonight. :disappointed:

SMU in the other game, so no viewing help there.

SMU shutdown had to be 30+ years ago, and it will never happen again. Everything they did then, is good practice now.

And yeah, I know, get off my lawn!

Buddy… Wait till Dabo gets interviewed after this win over SMU.

SMU should still be in and Alabama should be out.

There, I said it.

You’re not going to get any agreement on keeping Alabama out from this guy, he’s still blocking…

Not sure what you are saying or what the former Auburn/Ole Miss coach has to do with this thread. Tommy’s a dick that nobody likes. But if you feel better post away. We both live in states with pretty crappy Senators.

You are absolutely correct. I’ll see your ‘blocking’ Tuberville and raise you a Mike Lee.

My post was a light hearted slap at the state of Alabama for the football like political actions of it’s blocking senior senator. In fairness, and as you accurately point out, we have one of our own.

Lee is certainly guilty of each of the following political versions of football maneuvers:
encroachment,
failed attempt,
comeback route,
double reverse,
muffed punt,
shift,
and running out the clock.

But he is more prominently remembered for his initial dramatic counter of TFG, soon followed by a:
reverse, then a
no-huddle offense,
and an eventual total kneel, before the the Former coach in Orange.

We can all agree Alabama and BYU should not be in the playoffs I suppose. And that we have failed as voters to remove some really poor excuses for humans inhabiting senate seats.

I guess I’m a ducks fan for no great reason for the rest of the season.
