Props to BYU. Was hoping our season would be what theirs is turning out to be…alas.
Just goes to show how absolutely vital good QB play and luck with injuries really is to team success. Think of the years that Utah has seen its biggest successes: 04, 08, 21, 22. What was the common factor? A good QB that played the entire season. The seasons where we had hype and underperformed? QB (and other) key injuries. Sucks, but it’s reality.

Not sure I would call 24-14 “trounced,” but yeaah, doesn’t help Utah’s cause. And I will never understand how the Utes lost at home (by two score no less) to Arizona. They suck. Colorado is running them out of their own stadium.

Flipped over to the LSU/Ark game just in time to see JQJ run it up the middle for 11 yards…and stay down on the field clutching his ankle in pain while the announcers said “Jackson appears hurt for the second time today.”
