D-I College football thread, non-Utah edition

Maybe it’s just me but games on the streaming apps has been perfect for me. I watch quite a bit of SPL and League one from the UK on Paramount + and EPL on Peacock. College football will get to super league(s) status soon and we’ll have nationwide broadcasts on the big channels and the rest will fall to streaming.

I have an account with ESPN that I’ve had for years. But In order to get ESPN+, I need to sign in with my “MyDisney” account.

I signed up to Disney+ from my iPhone and don’t recall ever setting up any sort of Disney account. Tried the email and login I use for my iTunes account, but that isn’t it. Requested a password reset, but it’s been 30 minutes and nothing has come through to either of my email accounts so I have no idea what the Disney+ account is linked to.

If I sign up with ESPN+ to watch Utah games, will it screw up my existing Disney+ account? Will it maybe combine the two? If I have to log in on my “smart TV”, which login do I use?

All I want to do is watch the damn Utah game. I f*cking hate streaming.

I don’t have ESPN+. I don’t know if I want to spend the money for it.

I already have Comcast.

Here’s where I’m at (as if anyone really cares)

I will be at the 6 home games.

Of the road games:

Aggies: I will be out of town and frankly expect to win that game and wouldn’t want to watch if we were to lose, so no loss there

Oklahoma St: Big enough game that it should be on something bigger than ESPN+

ASU: Friday game, so it will be on ESPN or FS1

Houston: Could be an issue, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out (my neighbor has ESPN+)

Colorad9: See Houston

UCF: Friday game, will be on something bigger than ESPN+

I don’t think the Ducks needed practice videos to know how to beat the Buffs. The game videos exposed the Buffs’ lines and defensive secondary sans Hunter.

I just paid the $11 and change (with tax) for a month for ESPN+ cuz I want to watch the game. I noticed though - unless I’m mistaken - that virtuall all UTE games now do not have a channel selection for future games. It appears every week, depending on our status in the conference or in comparison with other markets, is “to be determined.” The whole thing is an inside deal with the top players: ESPN, FOX, etc, or whomever owns them or buys the rights…
So, maybe I’ll still need ESPN+ a month from now if we unexpectedly lose a couple games?

Who ya rooting for? @BamaFanNKY

Seeing Ralphie get beat by the Jackrabbits, and seeing Deion melt down over it would be epic.

FWIW my guess is everything that was wrong in Boulder last season is still wrong - and Shadeur will be the one paying for it.

@SkinyUte and @AbsoluteUte I signed up for ESPN+ a couple of years ago, because that is where all the NHL games went and NHL.tv went away. I found out that I can link Disney+ and Hulu to the account. When I signed up for Hulu, it said, we see you already have an ESPN account, want to combine, and I did. That is how it worked before. I got all three without upsetting my original ESPN+ account

Morehead (Local team to me from HS days), Howard, Jackson State, NC A&T, UAPB, Alcorn, Lindenwood, Murrary State, NWState, ND State, Tulane, and of course the Utes. Probably also Sac State. I tend to favor HBCUs. Always loved the environment more the PWI.

Yep. It’s the Bison vs. the Buffalos. Ralphie might have some mixed feelings.
