I’m always nervous. For every game.
Time to kick the tires and light the fires.
GO UTES!!!
BEAT THE DUCKS…AGAIN!!!
nervous as a long-tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs
R-e-l-a-x relax. We got this.
I’m too busy dealing with a “man cold” to worry.
I’m too busy needing to cook my daughter’s birthday dinner to worry.
I will worry when it it time to worry.
People who wear socks like that deserve to be nervous.
Don’t be dissin’ on the undefeated socks.
I am nervous for this one. In my mind, I’m thinking that it’s just going to be so tough to beat a team of Oregon’s caliber twice in a 13-day span. Oregon will have made adjustments. There’s just no way Utah can hold back Oregon’s run game, run all over the Ducks, and shut down Thibodeaux again, right? But then I tell myself that Utah is going to be laser-focused on getting over the hump and finally winning that elusive conference title.
I feel your pain. Argh.
use that alternate route through Santa Clara, UT to avoid that mess, it drops you off on I-15 just before Mesquite
Isn’t that fairly common? They gotta re-engineer that section. Hope your on your way soon!
I don’t know if anyone remembers this, but a few years ago two brothers - Syracuse High students tried to fly a small plane through that gorge while their parents waiting for them in Las Vegas.
I can’t help but think of that every time I drive there. Creeps me out.
Probably 15:1 Ute fans to Quackers here at Mandalay Bay this morning. It’s nice.
Oregon has all those five stars. Cristobol is a formidable coach. Oregon is good enough to have been in the final four. The Utah game was kind of a fluke no matter how you slice it. Utah isn’t 31 points better than Oregon. Today, Oregon will be ready and have the psychological advantage.
I can’t stand Oregon. Obnoxious nouveau riche. But I’m afraid.
Two years ago I was at the game. This time, I decided to give the Utes the maximum chance of winning. I’ll be on a date with my wife. I’m a man of reason, not a superstitious person. But willing to try anything at this point. Being there was bad last time. Also, I can hardly bear to watch. If they win, I’ll watch the tape.
I can’t believe they’re one game away from the Rose Bowl against Ohio State–the one game obstacle against an opponent ranked third when the Utes beat it by 31. It’s sickening.
How was that game a fluke?
I think Utah was clearly a better team that day, but a few special teams plays made the score a lot more eye-popping than it otherwise would have been. It’s not hard to imagine someone pushing Britain Covey out-of-bounds on a punt return. Covey, as good as he is, usual does not make 78-yard punt returns for touchdowns.
Their placekicker, Camden Lewis is 11 for 13 on Field Goals this year. Both misses were in the Utah game. At least from my point of view, it makes the score a little bit of a fluke. I would still feel very good about the Utah-Oregon game 13 days ago, but would you be a tad bit less confident if the score had been 31-13 instead of 38-7?
31 points was a fluke. Utah is not 31 points better than Oregon State, much less Oregon.
If it’s going to be like walking into a religious revival coming here, it’s not an interesting discussion or place.
No I wouldn’t. Utah dominated that game in every facet. All of em. The score of 31-13 changes none of that. Utah took its foot off the gas I’m the second half. It could have been much much worse.
