Colorado State Athletics is gross

“Among complaints from Colorado State athletes staffers: Coaches have told players not to report COVID-19 symptoms, threatened players with reduced playing time if they quarantine and claim CSU is altering contact tracing reports to keep players practicing. Many players and staffers don’t feel safe. They have no say in safety. Is trying to play college football this season anything other than a money grab?” Per Kyle Lytle of the Coloradoan.

It’s time to just shut it all down for now.

Since the initial reports, quite a few CSU players have said that this is not true. Not sure yet who is telling the truth.

I’m pretty sure this is happening elsewhere if it’s happening at CSU.

FWIW, that link is only 4 hours old so I don’t know.

I tend to believe the people who put their name to a statement over reports that are anonymously sourced. Either way, sounds like they are going to do a deep investigation.

Sometimes those without power have to be nameless for a reason. I tend to believe power will use unpaid labor nefariously.

Strong response.

It’s decent. I think responses are better judged six months later. I can’t believe people doubted the report.
