Those pilots are amazing! Especcially with the thin air and competing wind/thermals @330ute and other pilots among us.
They hit that fire fast and hard - I saw an MD-80 tanker, that 737 and a small BA-146 jet.
Those guys are good.
That’s got to be a really bumpy ride that low in the heat, with the heat off the fire.

One of those tankers flew really low & slow over my house in Davis County. What they do is so impressive.

That is a massive plane to by flying like a Super Cub. Having a couple of powerful turbines helps I imagine!
