What kind of development did people see in the wide receivers during his two years here? Not sure how much of Vele’s improvement is attributable to Bumphis. One thing said in an analysis of the Rose Bowl in the Athletic was that our receivers were not able to get separation, our qb’s didn’t have good passing lanes. The writer said we need improvement at the wr position, and can’t rely just on our te’s.

I saw where the Miss State WR coach is going to be the new oc at Tulsa. Presumably that created the opening for Bumphis to return.
