Imagine 2023 you, telling 2011 you that Utah would be 4-0 with 8 starters out of the line up, including their QB…and have wins over Florida, Baylor and ucla. Whitt and Co. have built one heck of a program. Congratulations all around, absolutely dominating performance from the D.

That was a tough game to watch when you didn’t sleep well the njght before.
GREAT GAME!!
For a variety of reasons I have not been able to attend many games or tailgates in the laswt few years, and managed to make both today.
My wife and I and another couple had lunch with friends at one tailgate, and then walked around the lot for a while running into several old friends and Ute fans. It turned out to be perfect weather for the tailgate and the game.
The game itself was not particularly thrilling, particularly if you were expecting more from the offense, but we did win, we beat the spread, and are undefeated even with all of our injuries.
A final comment to all those around me and on the way out cursing Whittingham/Ludwig, and/or any others of the coaching staff and/or players, for the conservative play on offense. I might call it differently myself, but anyone whose been around this team anytime in the Whittingham era, should expect exactly what we got today, given what the other team was presenting. It might be a bit hard to watch at times, but it’s what you should expect as long as Whittingham is the coach, and he has won a LOT of games that way.
