Branden Carlson with OKC

FWIW…I don’t watch NBA and haven’t in a long time. That said, have been reading about Carlson and watched a couple of highlights of of his two games with OKC. He’s has really been contributing. Scored 11 and 8, against Cleveland and Brooklyn, respectively. Shooting about 40% from the 3, playing good defense, and is rebounding pretty well.

Just signed his second 10-day contract with OKC. Will interesting to see what happens after this. If OKC keeps him, it will have to sign him to a standard contract for the year; otherwise, I think he has to go back to Toronto as it owns his G-league contract.

Very happy for Carlson. Seems like a really good kid and he certainly worked hard during his Utah time.

That is some nice news!

I thought BC had some skills that could translate in the NBA game. Tall, long range bomber who can rebound and give vertical pressure on defense.

Nice that he’s with a franchise that can develop him as a complimentary talent. He’s not the next Kevin Durrant, but he doesn’t need to be in order to have a decent career in the NBA.

Really glad he’s not with the toxic dumpster fire Danny Ainge presides over.

Maybe the coolest thing is he gave his magic headband to Lovering, who I don’t even recognize anymore (except at the line).
