K State kicked the crap out of TCU. Houston also rolled today.
No easy outs in this league. Well, except for Ok State.

For a decade, while commuting semi-monthly to my employer’s headquarters in Miami, I had an Iranian-born, US citizen, beer brewer/aficionado, working for me. He was also a footballer, in the traditional (non-US) sense, who had adopted his new Country’s obsession with the game named for playing ball, with the foot, and being located in the Miami area, he naturally adopted the Hurricanes as his team. (He eventually began to understand the game, but mostly, I think, he was looking for an excuse to be outside on the weekend drinking a lot of beer.)
We became friends as we shared interests in football, old-world and new, and in beer in general.
We have not spoken for a few years, but I recall that when the PAC 12 Oregon coach left to coach his Canes, he wanted an opinion, and I had to say that I had not been impressed. In our time in the PAC-12, I think he was the least effective Oregon coach, verse our Utes, am I wrong?
