I just finished watch Nuremberg and it raised a question that I want to throw out. Are there movies, books or documentaries that should be required reading of all high school students?
I think Nuremberg and Schindler’s list belong there.

For as long as I can remember, my parents always subscribed to the New York Times Sunday Edition. We always received the local paper and the Boston Globe daily but, to this day, we have enjoyed the length and breadth of the Sunday times as the definitive Sunday ritual with coffee. for a high-school/coming of age person, The NYT is packed with all kinds of great writing, editorials and special feature articles in sports, art, architecture, politics, theater, fashion etc. There are also frequent, age appropriate kid’s section as well as travel sections and so much more. It is still the paper of record and often takes a week to chop through before the next one is on your driveway…
Love the list!!! Great item to keep on the list, but first, the students must be required to watch the original Frankenstein. After all, no one, in high school now, has actually ever seen the original.
