And, in other news today, cougarboard.com sets a new record for visitorship by 13-15 year boys

Use a VPN from outside Utah, and it probably goes to pornhub. :joy::joy::joy::joy::joy::joy:

There’s probably a link to Bubbling.com

I hate to be the one to break this to you, but ads like that come from your browser history.

With very few exceptions, they’re not static ads exclusive to that site. They use your cookies to see what you’ve been looking at online and then feed you ads accordingly.

The guys not wrong about buying tickets on the secondary market and getting better seats… oh, what’s that… never mind.

Well, if you truly hated to break it to me, you wouldn’t have done it publicly, so I guess we’ll just accept that as a disingenuous comment. And no, that ad did not come from my browser history. How do I know this, you might ask? Two ways. The owner of CB confirmed that they had a period of rogue ads on the site yesterday and I have security software from my neighbor who is a cybersecurity architect. His company’s system blocks tracking ads and other identifiable information.

Adam, glad you got a chuckle out of it.

It wasn’t a dig at you, just an observation. For 99.99% of people who don’t have a security setup like you’ve got, ads are targeted based on browser history.

Heck, it’s entirely possible my targeted ads would show something similar today, as I was online buying some birthday presents for Mrs. SkinyUte earlier.

Rogue ads = ads available only to “special members”
