I cared about how the teams in the PAC were doing (except Southern Cal, I always wanted them to lose). But I have a hard time caring how the other teams in this conference do. We are only going to get one team in the playoff, while the SEC and B1G get about 8 or 9.

How about them Cal Poly Mustangs with the W over Idaho. Winning at Football and life on the central coast. I’m a free agent now and my kid is considering Cal Poly (Sadly, also SC) for Engineering so I had my eye on a few games yesterday.
Pray for me y’all. I need her to get into Northwestern or Carnegie Mellon so we can avoid her going to SC. lol

I only care about if/how it will affect Utah. Beating an undefeated or 9-1 TCU team would be much better for Utah than beating a 6-4 TCU team later in the season. Even then, I don’t CARE care…I’m just vaguely interested.
For example, we don’t play TTech this year so I don’t give two sh*ts about what they do. In fact, I’d love more than anything for them to go down in flames, just to make their billionaire sugar daddy mad.

Well, even though the odds are not good, I do believe the biggest “F-You” that could be done to college football this season would be for Utah to win their way to the CFB championship game, and beat Bitchagain to take home the hardware.
Thinking things like this worry me back to the late 1980’s. Yes worry. It feels like the “Wash-Rinse-Repeat” we went through in those seasons. It’s a new year, and we have a good team. I would hate to see the unfettered patronage of Billionaires owning this trophy, too.
