Didn’t get a chance to watch Rams vs Panthers, but it must have been a great game.
I liked the Bears and disliked the Packers as a young boy. I loved the Utes beating Caleb Williams and USC, but learning some stuff about Williams has made me want him to be successful
The Panthers/Rams game was pretty good, but it also felt a bit of who wanted to give it away in the last 4min of the game. FWIW, Bryce Young has come a long way. Can’t blame that loss for the Panthers on him.
Loved watching the Bills game. I grew up with my teams being the Browns and Jim Taylor and the Niners in the NFL and the Raiders in the AFL. Fandom for those teams ended long ago and I now mostly root for teams with former Utes. The Bills have been that team lately, but with Lloyd and Patrick on the Jacksonville, I had a rooting interest for both. I am happy to see Lloyd have a great season after Jacksonville failed to pickup his 5th year option this past summer. His play and being selected 2nd team Aii-Pro likely means he will be getting a big payday. Good for him.
Watching Denver/Buffalo, it’s fun to see so many Utes making contributions.
Side note: Does CBS have anything on their network other than football, Survivor, and copaganda shows? So far I’ve seen ads for shows about Marshals, CIA, FBI, NCIS, Sheriffs, and “tracker” (which I assume is some sort of cop finding people show). Seems excessive.
So it wasn’t on the kneeldown, it was actually two plays before on a designed QB run. Payton misspoke in the post game press conference, saying it happened on “the second to last play in OT” (which would have been the kneeldown.
I have no rooting interest, but I thought it was the right call. Didn’t seem like the receiver ever really had possession to me. They both went to the ground with hands on the ball and the Broncos DB came up with it.
The hold in the end zone would have ended the game for Denver on a safety, but i didn’t see any problems with the calls (INT, non-pi, pi [even though roughing would have been called too]).
