This is a very reasonable idea. That’s why it probably won’t be adopted. (Please excuse my pessimism.)
Was Bogut particularly fond of Austria?
Am I missing something? Isn’t Bogut from Australia and ethnically Croatian?
This reminds me of the fact or factoid that the Vienna airport used to have a separate desk for people who meant to get on a flight to Australia and ended up in Austria by mistake
Is this a reference to “Dumb and Dumber” when someone says something to Jim Carrey’s character about Austria, and he replies, “G-day, mate! Put another shrimp on the barbie” in an Australian accent?
LOL!!! I completely misread that ![]()
So… I guess he’s keeping the more recent Jakob Pöltl connection alive.
Du hast recht!
Box score is interesting today. Utes got 10 more rebounds. That tells me the Utes have the athleticism to have won this game. Someone said they missed free throws, but they were 12-15, 80 percent. That’s acceptable. But Cincinnati shot 44 percent from the field and the Utes were 36 percent. Utes had 13 turnovers and Cincinnati 6. Allowing 44 percent is too high, in the age of massive numbers of three point shots depressing that stat, nor 7 more turnovers.
Cincinnati was more effective on defense.
They missed two front-ends of one-and-ones in the final minute. I think both misses were from Brown.
Ahead by 5 with 1:51 left and did not score angain.
I think one was Brown and the other McHenry.
12-13 from the charity stripe until missing 2 front ends. Those were fatal. An overall good performance but would have been nice to finish on the happy side of the scoreboard.
They lost by 4.
So Utah is off to a 13-3 start at the first media timeout. What are the chances they keep it up?
Utes up 13-3 at WVU in the first four minutes.
18-3 at the 12 minute mark
If Utah can go into the locker room up 10, I will be thrilled.
Edit: Already starting to falter. 18-3 now 21-12. Utes have scored eight points in the last 10 minutes.
WVU only 7 of 23 from the field. I can’t imagine they’ll shoot that bad in the second half.
Ahead by 15 with just over 13 minutes to go in the game. We’re beating a team, on their own court, with a record that’s the inverse of ours. They’re 16-9 and we are 9-16. A pleasant surprise. We may be headed for our second conference win.
This meltdown is gonna be amazing. Ugh.
